Abstract

Digital transformation is the hottest issue for 2017 Korea. Big data, AI, AR, VR, and connecting the world are the core values in these New Era. Skin measurement is the essential part in Skin barrier research. This field can be one of the representative example as candidate of digital transformation. In this review, Seven categories of Digital beauty tech will be suggested. 1. Skin measurement using new wearable or portable devices 2. Skin measurement and analysis using photo or light devices 3. Home care devices 4. Recommendation of ready-made cosmetics based on AI and Big data collected by category 1 and 2 5. Skin Care devices based on AI and Big data collected by category 1 and 2 6. Homemade cosmetics based on AI and Big data collected by category 1 and 2 7. AR, VR and App for application of make-up products. We must prepare the fast-growing fields and cooperate with innovative digital transformers ASAP.
